The beginning

Thank-you very much for visiting our blog. I am kind of new at the whole blog thing so this may take some getting used to before I am able to update on a regular basis. Our goal is to use this blog to keep all of our family updated on life in Iowa. Currently Paul is working full time at Wells Fargo. He recently won us a flat screen TV from a competition at work. Gotta love a guy who loves to win! He will also start school in January. He is excited to start back, but nervous because he has taken about two years off while I was in school. I graduated from nursing school in December, and am working part time on a telemetry floor while I study for my boards, which I plan to take in January. Hunter is currently attending preschool/ day care at a local church. He absolutely loves it, and is so excited that he gets to go to school like mommy.

As many of you know, we are expecting our second baby in August 2009. I will use this blog to mainly update family and friends on the pregnancy, but of course on any other interesting happenings in our household. We are all so excited to expand our family. Hunter can't wait to be a big brother. He continuously names the baby...the most memorable have been 'rocket, jet, and baby blue'.  Please pray for a safe and smooth pregnancy (not that I have anything specifically to worry about, but you never know). I understand our new baby will be born close to a few cousins, so please keep my other cousins who are pregnant in mind. We love you all and thank-you for sharing in the next chapter of our journey....
